Genry is a Filipino Architect and Experience Designer based in Singapore.

From 15 years of industry experience, his projects have spanned different industries - from retail to telecommunications, finance, real estate, automotive and hospitality across multiple countries and geographies within Asia Pacific, UAE, Turkey and Australia.

He is currently the Regional Studio Director for Asia Pacific and Head of Program Management at Eight Inc., leading a team of architects and designers in concept ideation, design strategies, design development and construction administration. As the program lead, he plays a pivotal role in guiding the creative direction, while ensuring impeccable execution and delivery, aligned with the overarching vision. He also manages a gamut of resources such as budget, timeline, and staffing across multiple Eight Inc. global offices.

Aside from his role at Eight Inc., Genry also serves as an advisor for a Manila-based design+build studio and a start-up design consultancy focusing on local retail and commercial projects.

Prior to joining Eight Inc., Genry worked on private residential projects and corporate interior fit-outs in Singapore and the Philippines. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Mapua University and obtained his architecture license in January 2011.
